| During
your stay in Lapland you need to do a lot: to make sure that Santa
Claus is a real man and to see him, to know all about him, to play with him,
to receive his gifts, and the like. In Norway, he has another name, Jouluppuki.
At first he lived quite modestly and alone, on the mountain with the funny
name Korvatunturi, which means "mountain-ear". This mountain,
in fact, resembles a hare's ear, and probably for this reason that Jouluppuki always hears perfectly all what adults and children asked him about. Now he lives nearby - a few kilometers from Rovaniemi, and thousands of children and adults come to see him each year. By the way, with the post office of Santa Claus, you can send a unique card to anywhere in the world! Isn’t it amazing? |
